show an increase in Ordinary Revenue of $84,586 over the
approved Estimate for 1910. The loss on the Opium Farrı
amounts to $46,300, while there is a reduction in the
Revenue earned by the Post Office of $68,900 due to
receipts from sale of stamps at the Postal Agencies in
China being no longer credited to the Hongkong Post
Office. These decreases are more than counterbalanced by
$125,000 under Liquor Duties and $20,000 under Stamp
Duties. The extraordinary items include $27,000 for half
estimated loss on working the Postal Agencies in China
during 191D which will not be paid till next year, and
$107,000 for traffic receipts from the Railway.

unusual nature comprised therein as well as the differences
under subheads.

Sterling items have again been
calculated at 1 s. and 9 d. to the dollar on the recom➡
-mendation of the Treasurer after consultation with the
Acting Chief Manager of the Hongkong and Shanghai Banking
Corporation.
